Plant oils have become a rapidly growing part of our lives. We use them daily in such products as food, soap, chemicals, cosmetics, paint, animal feed, and fuel. New innovative uses for plant oils are emerging every day.
These plant based resources are sensible alternatives to toxic petro-chemicals, however the production of many oils can have a variety of negative impacts. There is little advantage of biofuels if a rainforest was cleared to plant its feedstock. Non-toxic, plant based soap is far less beneficial if native communities were exploited to produce it.
We believe that a new generation of plant based products can be non-toxic and renewable without being at the expense of our environment.
